A more caring, comfortable, and rejuvenating senior residence than Sierra Winds would be very difficult to find. To a person, the employees are the most considerate, most reliable, and efficient of people. The quality and selection of food is outstanding and it's plentiful. Sierra Winds strives to be the very best senior residence in every way. You should definitely come on by and see for yourself.Posted on Google![]()

Matthew sent us promotion material to Sierra Winds which we responded. Kymberlee gave me, my wife and son a tour. Her charisma and knowledge of the facility sealed the deal for us!!! We visited a variety of other like establishments but the community atmosphere at Sierra Winds won us over. That included the residents and incredible support team!!! We are here to stay and would rate it a ten star‼️‼️‼️‼️Posted on Google![]()

Sierra Winds is consistently smooth for deliveries. Security greets us at the entrance, reception confirms building/room details, and visitor parking is available close to the lobby, which keeps the walk short even with larger arrangements. Wayfinding between wings is clear; first-time visits benefit from asking which elevator is quickest for the resident’s wing. Midday tends to be the easiest window—lobby foot traffic picks up around dinner. Handoffs are courteous, and when residents are out, reception logs the delivery so it’s kept safe until pickup. Overall, organized staff and clear access make on-time deliveries routine here.Posted on Google![]()

I can't say enough great things about Sierra Winds Health Center! The all-private rooms provide a sense of comfort and privacy that's hard to find elsewhere. The facility is impeccably clean and beautifully maintained, creating a welcoming and peaceful environment. Their focus on therapy is truly outstanding — the therapy team is professional, supportive, and committed to helping residents regain their strength and independence. It's clear that the staff genuinely cares about the well-being of their residents. If you're looking for high-quality care in a gorgeous setting, I highly recommend Sierra Winds! Stop in and tour! My mother originally moved to Sierra Winds in the Independent Living section in 2016 and I've always had a favorable opinion of SW. She's been in the Health Center in Assisted Living for the past 1-1/2 years, and recently had to be moved from one are to another. We were both apprehensive but I can tell you that the staff involved showed the utmost compassion and caring in completing her move. I've very grateful to all the staff here.Posted on Google![]()

5 stars is simply not enough. Sierra winds is like nothing I have ever seen before. We recently moved my mother in law there. She had previously lived in her own home with the help of an occasional care giver. She was not excited about the move until she got there and now she refers to Sierra winds as "The Resort" she lives in. She has all the independence she wants with help whenever she needs it. The staff is incredible, they have welcomed her with open arms and have gone above and beyond to make sure she is living her best life. The apartments are beautiful the grounds are lovely the restaurant and bistro are delicious with so many choices. They have tons of fun activities. We have met so many residents that have lived there for 10+ years, which I believe truly speaks volumes. The residents are constantly stopping by to visit and welcome her to the community. Honestly, it is a perfect independent living resort with the option to add any assisted living care you need.Posted on Yelp![]()

This place is an absolute God send!!! My mom moved in this weekend. She is 90 years old, and has fought, fought, fought us to move. Starting with Kevin the director, to Tammie to everyone (and I am so sorry, I am bad with names- but EVERYONE - oh and Kevin the security guard) has gone above and beyond. My mom moved back to Arizona 3 years ago, into a house. We have slowly seen the signs of lonliness creeping in, even though she had a part time companion, from refusing to leave the house, to not walking her to dog, to watching tv 24/7 and finally to horrible eating habits. We have tried to convince her to move to other places which she fought tooth and nail - paid and refunded deposits four times at other places even! This time she agreed to move because she LOVED the place. All the residents have welcomed her with open arms, the staff treated her and her dog like they've known her forever. She is getting up in the mornings to walk her dog, to go get breakfast at the bistro, and has asked for a step counter because she is walking again!!! I live out of state, but I have gone in before she moved to check everything out at all hours, and not once has it not been a great experience. If you have a family member - or yourself- don't hesitate, pack up and start enjoying life again! they have everything for you, trips, activities, great food, and friendly people. Just make sure you wear your name tag because you won't remember who you speak with - too many welcoming faces!Posted on Google![]()

I was led to Sierra Winds because of Google Reviews, so I wanted to pay it forward to anyone who may need similar services. My mom was admitted to Sierra Winds Health Services (the rehabilitation side). From my initial visit, the staff was very courteous and professional and the facilities were clean. She was a resident there just shy of two weeks and I visited her everyday, so I was able to observe various nurses, housekeepers, CNAs, drivers, therapists and staff in the Bistro. I am grateful that my mom was under Sierra Wind’s care for the time she was there and I appreciate the level of care she received. If you have any specific questions please feel free to reach out to me and I will do my best to answer. It can be a very stressful topic because of all the negative publicity senior care centers have received, but from my experience this was not the case at Sierra Winds. Hope this helps anyone!Posted on Yelp![]()

Sierra Winds took care of my sister before she passed away from breast cancer. They were timely in response to the call light. The care was very good. It never smelled when I went to see her which was almost every day. I would definitely recommend them if your loved one needs care. Quiet place that's hidden away.Posted on Google![]()

I am a seven year resident of Sierra Winds and feel very blessed to live here. It is so easy to make new friends. A multitude of activities are available to enjoy. Many are in-house but we also attend ball games, theaters, dine out, and go on special outings as suggested by the residents. Our library is top-notch with an ever-changing inventory of books and DVD’s. Between the Palms Dining Room and the more casual Bistro we have a large variety of food choices. Our beautiful nom-denominational Chapel is second to none. Sierra winds is a warm welcoming place to call home!Posted on Google![]()

In December 2015 I sent a special Christmas card to my two children who live in Colorado and California. In it I told them I was giving them the best gift I could ever give to them. I had made my move into Sierra Winds Life Care Community. They were as delighted as I that I would be in my apartment all tucked in for safety, security, new friendships, long term care and especially a New Family. I have not regretted the move and I am certainly happy to be here. My husband and I were going to come together, but he passed away before he could come with me. My advice is — don’t wait too long to make that decision. My days are sunny and bright.Posted on Google![]()

After visiting several life care communities, we made an appointment to tour Sierra Winds. Walking in the front door was like coming home. Residents were clustered in small groups in the lobby, talking and laughing. They greeted us and made us feel welcome, even before we had started our tour. Everywhere we went, we saw smiling faces and friendly people. Posters informed us of upcoming activities including trips to the theater, a casino, restaurants, and even a ball game. The right decision for us was clear. I needed the skilled care center and rehabilitation services later for awhile, and having them located in the same building was wonderful because my wife and friends didn't have to go outside to a separate building. It's all connected inside. I enjoyed what I called "resort living" in our retirement community prior to moving here, but this is like living on a cruise ship without getting seasick. The staff is wonderful and I feel pampered every day. Coming here was the best decision we could have made.Posted on Google![]()

I have lived here for 6 and 1/2 years. This week's event describes perfectly why I live here. I woke up early Monday morning feeling warm. The thermostat had no readings. I was without air conditioning. It was warm in the apartment. By 1:00 PM I had a new a/c unit that was working perfectly.Posted on Google![]()

In the past 6 months, my mother was at three different rehab facilities; you might say I am an expert in this area. Sierra Winds Health Center was the third and the best of all. They took wonderful care of my mother and it was clear that the staff works as a team. One of the greatest experiences was when we sat down and met with everyone together - they all had input into my mother's care; PT, RT, Nursing, etc. Prior to this we had unfortunate experiences with case managers. Joe, the case manager at Sierra Winds was truly compassionate and knowledgeable. Thank you!Posted on Google![]()

My husband and I moved to Sierra Winds Independent Living in 2011, encouraged by the care that my aunt had received the last five years of her life. (She passed at 100 years of age, and I had witnessed the encouragement she had received in the continuing care section of Sierra Winds those five years.) I, of course, at 72, thought I was too young, but I have been so grateful ever since! In those 11 years, I have lost two husbands, joined my fellow residents in the covid shutdown, and lived through chemotherapy. All the while, receiving the concern and care of the staff and fellow residents. My advice: don't wait until you have to make a move. Come while you can continue to enjoy travel, freedom, and making new friends.Posted on Yelp![]()

Visited with a neighbor who is looking for an independent living set-up for herself and her husband plus their 2 cats. This place looks very nice--clean and well-maintained. Units feel spacious and there are multiple dining options. There are various financial choices that would need to be studied more. Things like housekeeping, flat-laundry service, reasonably priced guest suites by the night, and storage facilities in the building all seem good. It's on my neighbor's short list, but we still need to check out a few other places.Posted on Google![]()

I recently broke my hip, and had to find a rehab for about 3-4 weeks. Our dear friend had been through the rehab/nursing home care merry-go-round quite a few times. With that said, while I was at the hospital, he went to check out SW for me. He came back and said that was the cleanest environment he had seen over the past 5 years in a facility of this type, and that everyone (staff and residents) were working together like a well oiled machine and were friendly and happy. With COVID still on the loose, they normally have 2 in a room, but they only had 1 bed filled at this time. When we got out of the hospital, my hubby and I had gone to SW to register. We were greeted by the nurse on shift, and she was warm and welcoming. Explained everything to us, tested me for TB and Covid, and asked if I needed help with anything, and to ring her if I did in the future. Meanwhile, she sent in a CNA that was very sweet and caring. It was late evening when I arrived, and the CNA got me a little something to eat and helped me get situated. The next day, I saw many staff members, all of whom were always smiling and ready to help. They answered the call button in a timely manner, and always (even when they were really busy) made sure to come check on me and let me know what was happening timewise. They kept to their word. The phlebotomists knew what they were doing, and with my fear of needles, I felt no pain whatsoever. The cleaning crew came in daily, and all were very happy and friendly. I had a problem with the a/c unit in my room, and it was taken care of quickly. Again, the guys that fixed it were quick and efficient. The food was very good, and the gals came in 3x a day to take my orders for my meals. I only had 1 meal that I didn't care for the whole time I was there! That in itself is phenomenal for a rehab facility. While walking the halls with my walker, every resident there was happy and friendly. When it came time for me to have in house therapy, I had several therapists, all of whom took excellent care of me and taught me many ways to get back on my feet, and kept me on track with exercises. They are all so helpful, caring, loving, professional and knowledgeable. I was VERY happy with my stay there. Security was also wonderful at this facility, and what started as a rotten reason I had to be in a rehab facility, ended up as a wonderful experience! The doctors that work at that facility were also great! I highly recommend if you need a rehab center to recuperate, or assisted/non-assisted living center, please check them out! TY to all the wonderful staff and doctors I have had the honor of meeting! Oh yes, they also have a Bistro at the end of the building that also has friendly people and good food! If I ever have another uh-oh and need to go into a rehab center again, (fingers crossed it doesn't happen), this is going to be it!!! TY to all the wonderful staff I have had the pleasure/honor of meeting! You guys rock!Posted on Google![]()

Sierra Winds is by far a bad place. It’s filled with dedicated staff whom I’ve encountered conversations with countless times. These people go above and beyond here and especially during COVID 19. They’re consistently showing up and keeping the place clean. As far as security, to add to one of the reviews left previously, security is always present and there is NEVER only one guard on duty. Instead of riding around in your vehicle and thinking your “scoping” the place out, get out of your vehicle and see how they really work hard. Understand that during this tough time there are not many people that will enjoy endangering their lives to help others. It takes heart to do that! I salute Sierra Winds workers because they are all taking this time very serious and it’s a very comfortable understanding for everyone. Of course nothing is perfect but they try very hard to be just that. Every establishment comes with some sort of bumps and bruises. Theirs are minor! Again, don’t judge from the outside looking in, these people are phenomenal! Period! Salute to security as well! You guys work hard and I’m sure the residents appreciate being safe! The property can replace items outside, it’s the lives inside that matter and can’t be replaced!Posted on Google![]()
